Dinosaur Dig

Dinosaurs are a popular topic to my 5-year-old. He's fascinated by them and knows many by name. We have gone over dinosaurs, creation, paleontologist and their tools. To give Ryan an idea how long it takes to remove fossils, I had him remove dinosaurs from a block of plaster in this kit: Dig-And-Play Dinosaur World. Here's another one that's similar: I DIG Dinosaurs T-Rex Skeleton Excavation Adventure.

One of the great things about this exercise is that it takes patience and determination to dig out the dinosaurs. Ryan spent a total of six hours digging out the dinosaurs with the tools provided in the kit. We hope to some day take a family vacation to the Creation Museum in Kentucky.
